Wedding Tip #2: Don't dress like the bridesmaids! Wedding guest outfits shouldn't look too much like the bridesmaids' dresses. Some guests even make the effort to find out the wedding color scheme and choose a dress based off that, which is not a bad idea. Wearing an identical dress to the bridesmaids, however, can give the impression of being offended at not being asked to be one. Coincidences do happen and sometimes guests will end up wearing the same color dress as the bridesmaids which isn't the end of the world!
But one way to made sure that doesn't happen is accessorizing your outfit. So even if the color of the bridesmaids' dresses is similar to yours, it will look different enough with fitting accessories like a belt, shoes, statement necklaces, and a hair-do. This outfit combination is a little bit daring. I paired up this dress with a bralette which is a color that doesn't match any other piece in the outfit, however, I thought it would be fitting as both the dress and the bralette are made out of lace and gray goes well with blush color. As accents I chose, red colored items: the belt and the shoes. I selected a long necklace as it elongates the body and is also in a feminine, elegant style as the rest of the outfit. To finish it off, I did a half up-do and turned a braid into a flower complementing the look.
