Just because it's cold, gloomy, and dark outside doesn't mean that your wardrobe should reflect that. Yes, we had to put away our florals and pastels away for the winter but winter wardrobe can be just as exciting as summer and spring!

I especially love wearing fun, brightly-colored coats during winter! There is such a big variety!

To start off, I think everyone should have a classy, wool coat to wear to special occasions and work. Every time I put my wool coat on, I feel like I am channeling my inner Kate Middleton or Blair Waldorf haha. These don't have to be expensive, I have found many classy, wool coats at H&M for a very affordable price. For example, the one shown here is from H&M.

Another great coat to have is a faux-fur coat. They will turn any simple outfit into a fun one! I love adding my faux fur jackets to a plain, all black outfit.

It's great to branch out and choose coats outside of the standard black, gray, or navy colors. I love brightly colored coats or ones with a fun pattern.

A great way to get a nice coat on a budget, is to buy one now when winter season is coming to an end. Stores have great discounts on nice coats! Classic wool coats will never go out of style or parkas will always be needed as well but it's worth scoping some of your favorite stores to see if they are on sale now!

For example Nordstrom has a winter sale up to 40% off now through February 25th!!! Bloomingdale's also has their Presidents' Day sale! H&M also has great discounted coats right now.
