Wedding Tip #3: Do not wear white!

Some think that this is an old-fashioned rule and it is possible that the bride might not care about it one bit. But wearing a white dress to a wedding can rub a lot of people the wrong way. If your outfit looks remotely bridal it is better to avoid it not to offend the bride. Let the big day be about the guest of honor - the bride and save your white dress for a special occasion that doesn't involve a bouquet toss and vows. Exceptions to the rule are white dresses with bold colored patters or any other type of print.

Here is an example of how you can incorporate white in your outfit just make sure not to wear an all white dress only. This is a beige dress mixed with white. I absolutely love it because it is somewhat unusual with the uneven skirt on all the sides, it is comfortable, and it is the type of dress that can be worn for various occasions. 1) You can dress it up with a pair of heels and a clutch and wear it to a wedding as shown above or 2) put it with a pair of converse and a jean jacket and wear it to a more casual event.
